MUSICAL DIRECTOR and ACCOMPANIST 

	In August 2010 Steve Height, who had been a member of the choir for 7 years – singing in the second tenor section – was appointed to the position of Musical Director, and continued until the choir was disbanded in 2018. Prior to his appointment he had served as deputy conductor for two years – taking rehearsals on a regular basis, and conducting concerts from time to time. Steve’s other musical interests included playing drums in the worship group at Leamington Spa Baptist Church and singing in the church choir. He also kept himself busy by serving as a Lieutenant in the local Boys’ Brigade – of which he has been a member for many years. For his day job, Steve works for Warwickshire County Council as an administrative assistant at the Saltisford Office Park in Warwick. Julie Edwards was the choir's accompanist from May 2007 until the choir was disbanded in 2018. Until recently, she was head of language studies at a large secondary school in Warwick, and was promoted in June 2010 to the position of Advanced Skills Teacher, combined with spending some of her time supervising PGCE students at Warwick University. As an accomplished musician Julie finds relaxation from her demanding day job in various musical pursuits. In addition to playing for the RNA Choir, she plays for a newly reformed Ladies' choir, sings in a church choir, and frequently accompanies school musical productions - recent examples being The Sound of Music, Oliver, Les Misérables, etc. Julie now plays for the successor choir - see  www.twocastlesmvc.org.uk
